Dave Hough - Bass Trombone
David Hough, bass trombone, is a native of Scottdale, Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor's degree in music education from
Duquesne University in 1978, where he was a student of Matty Shiner. Upon
graduation, he became the bass trombonist for the Concert Band of the U.S. Army
Field Band from which he retired from in 2005.
He has toured and performed throughout all 50
states and in Europe, the Far East, and the Republic of India. He has also
performed in orchestras, big bands, brass quartets and quintets, dinner theater
and the Inter-Service Trombone Choir. Dave has been a member of the Crabtowne
Big Band since 1997.
