Ruth Capobianco - Vocalist

Ruth joined the Crabtowne Big Band in April, 2004. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in  Music from Mansfield University (PA), where she majored in voice and piano. She has performed as a soloist and/or member of many professional and community groups along the East Coast.  She has appeared in "Little Shop of Horrors," "Dames at Sea," "The Gilbert and Sullivan Reviews," "Hello Dolly," "The Pajama Game," and "Cabaret."  Ruth taught music in the Maryland Public School System for nine years. She is currently a private voice and piano instructor. Information to study music with Ruth is available on her web site, Collage Of Voice. When not teaching music or performing with the Crabtowne Big Band, Ruth also appears around the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area as  a freelance vocalist.
