Hello from Yachats Oregon, The Gem of the Oregon Coast.
Just looking around tonight, seeing what other big bands are playing theses days. Your band photo caught my eye seeing a female trombone player! I'm female and I play lead trombone in our big band. There are not too many of us especially my age that plays trombone.
I liked the form that your using to list your charts.

I played trumpet with Bob Cady in the US Naval Academy Band from 'sixty nine to 'seventy four. He was the old wise man of the group that was frought with honesty and integrity. Since he told me stories of the Yorktown, CVFive, I have been using my free time finding all I can on the ship, including building a model, and finding photographs of the band on the ship just prior to the Coral Sea Engagement.
Bob told me that when they were attacked at Midway it was really rough to put it his way. He was a trooper though and made it off to survive and mentor me, a green horn with a need to know the ropes. I appreciated Bob and still honor his name by sharing it wherever I can as I speak of CV-Five.
Thank you Bob, your memory lives on and so does the ship.

Well I'm from the big band era.
Unfortunately only saw our Big Band greats on television, Glenn
Miller, Artie Shaw, Cab Calloway, Benny Goodman et al. Of course, I
loved to jive to "In The Mood." Those were the days which has
inspired my sisters and I to have our own Web Site on Golden Oldie
Movies. I would like to extend an invitation to our host and his/her
viewers to visit our page and listen to the Old Time Radio and the
Andrew Sisters singing "The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." See if your
horoscope matches up with the "Star of the Month." We would love it
if you would sign our Guest Book. Thanks. Betty, May and Margaret.

So many
big bands (http://nfo.net/.NEW/new1.html#NEW1TOP)
so few listeners. It's sad. Keep buying/playing those Sammy Nestico
compositions & arrangements. Doug

All I can say is wow! The
band has a great sound. Unfortunately it's not likely I'll hear the
band live (seeing as I'm in Canada), but if I ever have the chance,
I'll be sure to stop by for a listen. Also, great website. Keep
playing good music...

I have
just purchased your new cd and the glass is half full concerning
your performances. I really enjoyed 8 of your tracks, but on the
other 8 tracks it seems that the arrangements were not very good. On
these songs it appears that the band had no direction. It appears
everyone was playing without much purpose. I hope you will put out
future cds, but let's try to get the best arrangements that you can
find, so your band will sound it's best. I really like the sound of
this band!

Really enjoyed
subbing on drums at the MD Inn last week. I had a ball. Hope to work
with you guys again sometime. I think your site is fantastic. All
you need is some advertising from the MD Inn to let everyone know
where you are! Thanks again for a great time........Jerry

I absolutely loved the CD and feel honored to be one of the first
to receive it. The CD was professionally done and the name "Steamin"
truly fits. I always prided myself in being able to pick out my
brother's solos, due to his unique tone, but I must admit, his
"steamin" made it difficult.
The band should be commended on their talents and take pride in their
accomplishments as musicians.

wondering if you can help me with my hearing? Would love to purchase
the Crabtowne CD. Has it been released yet? And how do I get one??
By the way, how's your toilet???

I love your website---beautiful!! The band is fabulous as well. I
heard you at my Uncle Bill Krieger's 50th Wedding Anniversary. You
are the best in big band sounds! This coming from the next
generation down. I couldn't sit still, but then music is in my
blood, ain't it, Uncle Bill?
Keep Swingin'!!

WARNING!! DO NOT BOOK THIS BAND FOR THE FOLLOWING:
-------------------------------------------------- Afternoon Tea
Socials, Classic Books Club Meetings, Chess Tournaments, Tupperware
Parties, Garden Clubs, or any other gathering that might upset the
meek and mild tempered.......
WHY?!?!?!
Because these guys attack Big Band music with the force of Led Zepplin, the
accuracy of the Andrews Sisters, and the grace of GRACE herself.
Don't hire them unless you're going ALL THE WAY.. Don't see their show unless
you've had a full night's sleep.. Don't expect your husband to remember your
anniversary, because to him, it's always gonna be~~ "oh yeah.. that night we
hired that Big Band to play..."
God Bless Us All.
